2020 Innovative Company Award

GEOFABRICS RECOGNISED ON THE AFR BOSS MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANIES LIST 2020

Leading geosynthetic manufacturer Geofabrics has been named one of Australia and New Zealand’s most innovative companies, making the Top 10 list in the Manufacturing and Consumer category of the AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies. The assessment measures a top innovation implemented in the past two years, and this year comprised more than 600 nominations.

The esteemed annual list, published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by leading innovation consultancy Inventium in conjunction with a panel of industry expert judges.

Geofabrics was recognised for bidim® Green, a new green, sustainable geotextile made in Australia, from Australian sourced recycled plastics. The original bidim, made from virgin polymer is the most well-known nonwoven geotextile product on the market today. It’s superior technical performance and versatility means it can be utilised in almost every civil engineering construction project. bidim provides drainage, separation, filtration, and protection in the construction of our national roads and railways, in our nation’s mining infrastructure as well as in smaller applications such as residential, plumbing and landscaping.

“Geofabrics has a rich history of focusing research and innovation efforts on products that help solve the environmental issues of today, and the future. Our ranking on the Most Innovative Companies list is a tribute to our people, our core values and a strong continuous improvement culture. We consistently look for opportunities to challenge the status quo and deliver smarter solutions for our customers. We are passionate about building our nation’s road, rail, landfill and renewables infrastructure with Australian made sustainable products”
– Dennis Grech, Geofabrics CEO & Managing Director
