Geofabrics staff were cooking up a storm at the CPB Family Day held on Saturday 7 October with a sausage sizzle and prize draws!
It was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by CPB SCI family members, partners, children and grandchildren alike as well as the Geofabrics staff who attended. Over 150 people attended throughout the day (maybe more!) and included a face painter in high demand an operational toy excavator, "The Green Fairy", a "Mad Scientist" and DJ.
Glenn Houpapa; CPB Project Manager, thanked the Geofabrics team which consisted of Evan, Narinder, Kate, Komathi, and Felicity.
Check out some pics of the day below.
About CPB SCI - Southern Corridor Project
The Southern Corridor Improvements Project covers the stretch of Southern Motorway (SH1) from the SH20/SH1 connection at Manukau down to Papakura in the South. The Project includes additional lanes in both directions, upgraded Takanini Interchange and a 4.5km shared use pedestrian / cycle path. It has an estimated value of 268 million and works also include bridge upgrades, new bridge structures, reinforced soil slopes, MSE walls and numerous other applications that require geosynthetics. Geofabrics is proud to be a key supplier to the project and enjoy a great working relationship with the team at CPB. The project is due for completion in late 2018.
